TEACHING YOUR DOG LAY
This is probably the easiest command to teach your dog. First, tell your dog to sit. Then, put a treat in your and, and with the same hand, put it on the ground in front of your dog. Then, tell your dog to lay.
Once your dogs butt hits the ground, give him/her praise and the treat that you have in your hand. Do this everyday for 1 to 2 minutes for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, tell your dog lay but JUST lay. If your dog does it, give your dog lots of praise and a treat.
If your dog didn't do that, say "ah ah" and try again. If your dog Still doesn't lay, try it again later. This is very easy to do. Be patient and your dog will get it quickly. Once your dog gets used to Lay, add it to you Basic Dog Routine.
