Oatmeal and Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (you can use another type of flour if your dog is sensitive to wheat)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup peanut butter, chunky or smooth (I used smooth this time)
- 1 1/4 cups hot water
- Additional flour for rolling
- Preheat oven to 350° F
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Mix in the peanut butter and hot water. You may need to add more water if the dough is too sticky.
- Knead the dough well.
- Roll out the dough into 1/4" thickness and cut into shapes with dog cookie cutters.
- Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet for 40 minutes. Turn off the oven and let them cool overnight.
- After: The cookies get very hard, just the way dogs like them!
Storing: This peanut butter dog biscuit recipe makes biscuits that will last in a sealed air tight container at room temperature for one week. You can store them in the refrigerator for 3 weeks and in the freezer for up to 6 months.
Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (we sometimes use regular white flour)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 4 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (if desired)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Whisk together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff. Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Bake in preheated oven until hard, about 40 minutes.
- Let the biscuits cool down overnight.
- Give to your dog the next day!
- Place in a plastic freezer bag and store in your freezer.
Peanut Buter, And Oatmeal with Carob Dog Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cup oat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened carob powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
- 2 cup peanut butter
- 2 cup filtered water
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 325ºF.
- Measure the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir the ingredients until there combined.
- Use a blender on medium level with two paddles and stir until you have a doe feeling texture.
- Rub some flour on your hands and on the doe like biscuits. Roll the doe out so that its not skinny or thick.
- 5. Use cookie cutters or your hands to shape the doe into objects
- 6. Place the biscuits on a cookie sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until they are dry and firm to the touch. Turn off the oven and leave the biscuits in another 20–30 minutes. Remove them from the oven, and let them cool over night.
- Serve to your dog!!!
- Store in the freezer.
